Kevin Misquith first emerged in the Konkani music scene in 2004 with the release of his debut album ‘Rupnem’. Since then he has never looked back and has been performing consistently providing quality music. Producing four music albums and performing in several music shows, today he is well known among the Konkani music lovers around the world. His dedication and passion towards music today has won him a dedicated band of fans, followers and admirers in Konkani music.

 

Kevin Misquith released his debut Konkani album, ‘Rupnem’ in 2004. Following the huge response for his debut album, he released yet another Konkani hit album ‘Tuji Yaad’ in 2007. His third music album, ‘He Jeen’ in 2008, too had a very good response from the Konkani and non-Konkani music lovers, and was a huge success. The album was nominated at the Global Konkani Music Awards and won the award in the Best Lyricist category. His album “Thembe Thembe” has been a trend setter in Konkani music, several new experiments were done in this album by Kevin Misquith & almost every album released since then has followed the same concept. The song & the album “Thembe Thembe” was such a big hit that a host of Konkani songs on rains were released after that, almost every other album had a song on rains. This was termed as the hangover & after effect of “Thembe Thembe” by noted Wilson Kateel. His recently released music album ’Ek Geet” can be termed the best among all which is creating a huge buzz among music lovers all over with record sales and super hit songs. This album has been the hot favorite of many Konkani music buffs.

 

He has performed live in Mangalore, Bangalore, Mumbai, Goa and even internationally in the Middle East countries for various music shows, festivals & his own Kevin Misquith live-in Concerts. He is the only Konkani music composer after the great legends to have performed close to 35 music nites in a quick succession at a very young age. He is also soon going to be the first Konkani music composer to perform a independent Konkani music concert in the Holy land of Israel.

 

He is also the founder and lead vocalist of his band Milestone, which has been the most successful and popular music band of Mangalore in the recent years.

 

Kevin Misquith was born on 19th January 1987 to Elias and Violet Misquith in Manama, Bahrain. He has a brother Keron Misquith. He graduated from St. Aloysius College, Mangalore and later completed his MBA from IGNOU. Apart from his passion for music he is a small scale entrepreneur venturing into the IT industry. He has also been a youth activist and has served in several youth associations under various designations.
